I respect your opinion as ive read your comments before and sure everyone has a right to an opinion but since ive been here ive seen Sonarus comments on 360 news always trying to spin it negatively regardless.
I mean i know that your pro ps3 and last year i was pro 360/wii. this year is gonna be a lot closer for me but at least i can see the good and bad for every system.

Yeah i suppose the hard drive will be the key. I was pissed that ms did not make a hard drive mandatory as games like pgr 4 could of done with it. i mean pgr3's dynamic light effects were amazing but they scrapped them for 4 for static lights placed round the maps because of lack of space.
Don't get me wrong the game is still great looking but it could of been even better.
Im just hoping that br's slow read times can be combated by hard drive caching as i for one am ...
Crysis looks amazing and nothing on consoles can compare to it. The game data fits onto the dvd disc as its highly compressed. This cant be done on br discs for ps3 games due to the slow read times. thats why data takes up so much space and why large parts of games are having to be saved to the hard drive to get the game to run at a decent frame rate
Man i can't believe it's almost here.
Sony really did go out on a limb to push the industry forward and i commend them for it.
But my only worry is that Br may not be the right direction as far as games are concerned. I say this because of the read times of br drives. This has meant that games cannot be compressed and to get them to run at a good frame rate a large part of the disc must be saved to the hard drive. I mean if mgs4 can't fit on a normal Br disc whats gonna happen in 3-4 years time.

I know that for me the 360/wii provided me with the best gaming exp last year and this year have more games im anticipating (playing lo at the mo.)Ps3 for me last year was a big let down with the delays but finally this year is gonna be worth purchasing at last.

Yes there were technical issues but they were minor when taking into account what bioware did with Mass effect. Beautiful,deep,innovative and a great story to boot. Can't wait for the second one which i'll be playing on my £200 360 on my hd tv rather than a £500+ gaming pc. Just makes financial sense really.
